What You’ll Do

As an important part of the accounting team, you will verify and post accounts receivable transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records and manages collection activities.
As an Entry Level Collections Clerk, some of your responsibilities will be:
Collect payments for assigned accounts receivable portfolios.
Manage, perform and document collection calls on overdue accounts.
Reconcile assigned accounts, investigate discrepancies, and manage month end account adjustments.
Manage the customer statement process, send invoices to customers and follow up with customer requests.
Prepare head office bank deposits.
Update customer portfolios as needed.
Prepare various reports as required.
Complete other administrative or accounting duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Prior credit and collections experience.
1-3 years of experience in an Accounting/Administrative capacity.
Energetic and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Prior knowledge of CDK and collections experience considered an asset.
Excellent attention to detail with the drive to meet tight deadlines
Knowledge and experience with MS, Word and Excel.
