What You’ll Do
Job Description
Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to a variety of medium/heavy duty trucks
Troubleshoot and diagnose various vehicle systems and components, including air conditioning and vehicle electrical systems
Perform various safety and preventive maintenance inspections
Maintain safe, clean working environment
Perform oral and written communication regarding repair descriptions, inspection reports, and other internal documents
Participate in various company sponsored training programs
Access any area of equipment or vehicle as necessary to inspect or perform maintenance
Follow company guidelines and procedures in making maintenance and repairs
Apply knowledge and work in accordance with DOT, EPA, OSHA and other rules and regulations as required
Perform other duties as required
Prompt and daily attendance required
Proper use of various shop tools and equipment
Available to work any day or evening shifts
What We’re Looking For
Must have own tools
Basic computer skills
Commercial Drivers License and ASE certifications preferred but not required
Good work history and driving record
Self motivated and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Work in a professional manner and properly interact with customers
DOT pre-employment physical and drug screen required
Possess a positive attitude and take pride in performing quality work.
