What You’ll Do
Maintain a clean and safe shop.
Assign work to technicians following the daily work schedule.
Review truck history on all vehicles on work schedule; consult with branch manager any findings.
Assist technicians with parts, paper work, specs and procedures.
Review labor times on worked performed daily.
Perform PMI’s daily.
Set up next shifts work.
Building maintenance when needed.
Process and complete all repair orders and vendor invoices for the branch managers review.
Maintain entire mechanical parts and lubrication inv.
Order parts for inventory and stock with bar codes.
Perform BIN checks, monthly inventory & YE inv.
Perform tire inventory every month.
Keep yard organized and stage trucks accordingly.
Provide yard people with a daily work schedule, monitor job progress, maintain Hub’s standards
Assist in phone answering.
What We’re Looking For
Prior experience as a service manager (truck or auto)
Scheduling work to be performed
Excellent communication
Proven customer satisfaction skills
Process paper work, specs and procedures.
Reports
Inventory management
Sourcing materials as needed
Organization skills
Daily work schedules and monitor job progress
Assist in phone answering.
