U.S. and Canadian Truck Leasing Companies Approved for Full Membership in NationaLease Organization

NationaLease expands its network of independent full service truck leasing companies with the addition of Southwest Leasing, a NationaLease Member, Dallas, LTG Lonestar NationaLease, Grapevine, TX, and Location NRJ Leasing, a NationaLease Member, Quebec, Canada.

March 29, 2011, Downers Grove, IL – NationaLease, one of the largest full service truck leasing organizations in North America, has expanded its network of independent trucking companies with the addition of three new companies which have been approved for full membership. The announcement was made by NationaLease President Gene Scoggins on behalf of the NationaLease Membership Committee.

The state of Texas is represented by two new member companies, Southwest Leasing, a NationaLease Member, headquartered in Dallas, and LTG Lonestar NationaLease, based in Grapevine. Also new to the ranks of NationaLease membership is Location NRJ Leasing, a NationaLease Member, located in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada.

“In order to qualify for full membership to NationaLease, each company was required to grow their leasing organization to at least 50 units in full service leasing or contract maintenance,” Scoggins explained. “We are very proud to welcome these three exemplary companies into our network and consider each to be a valuable asset to the organization.”

As a full member in NationaLease, each company can take advantage of the organization’s combined purchasing power, while maintaining its independent business status. NationaLease member companies also extend Emergency Road Service to each other at 1200 locations, providing repair, fuel, and substitute vehicles 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It enables trucks travelling across the country to be assured of reliable emergency services outside their normal service area. NationaLease’s National Account group negotiates nationwide contracts with national suppliers on behalf of member companies, as well as national account marketing and management. Other benefits of NationaLease membership include access to consulting services, industry-related seminars and education, and networking opportunities.

The developing member program, started in 2002, helps truck leasing companies’ personnel learn the leasing industry while becoming stronger and more effective in their businesses. Since its inception, this program has brought 40 companies into the NationaLease family.
