Southland NationaLease, Harahan, LA, Approved for Full Membership in NationaLease Organization

The Harahan, LA, truck leasing company is now a member of the NationaLease organization, one of the largest full service truck leasing organizations in North America.

June 3, 2011, Downers Grove, IL – Southland NationaLease, a truck renting and leasing company headquartered in Harahan, LA, has been approved for full membership in NationaLease, one of the largest full service truck leasing organizations in North America. The announcement was made by NationaLease President Gene Scoggins on behalf of the NationaLease Membership Committee.

“Since its application to become a developing member of NationaLease, Southland NationaLease has grown their leasing operation under the direction of its President David Russo,” Scoggins said. “We consider Southland to be a valuable asset to the NationaLease network of independent truck leasing companies.”

Now that the independently owned Southland NationaLease is a full member in the NationaLease network, it can take advantage of a far-reaching national presence and the organization’s combined purchasing power. Member companies extend Emergency Road Service to each other at 1200 locations, providing repair, fuel, and substitute vehicles 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

NationaLease’s National Account Group negotiates nationwide contracts with national suppliers on behalf of member companies, as well as national account marketing and management. Other benefits of NationaLease membership include access to consulting services, industry-related seminars and education, and networking opportunities.

Started in 2002, the developing member program assists truck leasing companies to better learn the leasing industry while becoming more effective in their businesses. Since its inception, this program has brought 41 companies into the NationaLease family.
