NationaLease Announces Regional Finalists for 6th Annual NationaLease Tech Challenge

April 06, 2016, Downers Grove, IL — NationaLease, one of the largest full service truck leasing organizations in North America, today announced the nine regional winners of the 2016 NationaLease Tech Challenge exam, held in March. All nine winners will travel to the 2016 NationaLease Maintenance Managers Meeting and compete on May 23, 2016, in Chicago for title of Top Tech during the hands-on skills competition. The top three finalists will also represent NationaLease at TMC’s Annual SuperTech Competition in the fall.

This year’s finalists include:

  • Brian Schiel of Nova Truck Leasing, a NationaLease Developing Member, from Region 1
  • Tim Lipan of Ballard Truck Leasing, a NationaLease Member, from Region 2
  • Donald Rocco of Miller NationaLease from Region 3
  • Lorne Southern of Salem NationaLease from Region 4
  • Kory Stoudt of Aim NationaLease from Region 5
  • Allen Goldsmith of Star Truck Rentals, Inc., a NationaLease Member, from Region 6
  • Wade Murphy-Price of Airoldi Brothers NationaLease from Region 7
  • Aaron Tucker of Hogan Truck Leasing, Inc., a NationaLease Member, from Region 8
  • Joe Pearo of Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing, a NationaLease Member, from Region 9

Stoudt, Murphy-Price, Tucker, and Pearo are all previous finalists in the NationaLease Tech Challenge.

The NationaLease Tech Challenge, now in its sixth year, recognizes member company technicians with the opportunity to compete in a series of events testing their maintenance knowledge and skills. This exam, which member company technicians completed in early March, is the preliminary step to qualify for the title of NationaLease Top Tech.
