Michael Skordeles joined SunTrust’s Investment Advisory Group as Market Strategist and Senior Vice President in 2012. He provides specialized research and equity portfolio analysis as well as helping formulate and communicate investment strategy and commentary for our clients. Additionally, as part of the Portfolio & Market Strategy group, he helps manage over $11 billion in client assets. He is based in Atlanta.

Mr. Skordeles brings more than 20 years of investment experience to the Investment Advisory Group. He came from Morgan Keegan, where he was a Managing Director and Market Strategist for over five years, writing extensively about the markets and the economy. He was a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Committee and helped managed about $1.6 billion, serving as the portfolio manager overseeing the group’s tactical portfolio.
