Globally Trusted, Locally Embraced: Why Small Business Drives
Big Business
Ace Hardware’s reason for success, explained by its President and CEO, John Venhuizen, is its store owners: entrepreneurs with a deep knowledge of their local market, inventory fine-tuned to a neighborhood’s demographic and the sort of exacting customer service a typical big-box store with low pay and high employee turnover just can’t match. Hear how John leads the largest retail cooperative outside the grocery sector and how you can implement his best practices into your businesses.

Capitol Hill Visit
You don’t have to feel like you don’t have a voice in Congress. You will when you join us and participate directly in meetings with members of Congress and their staffs. Those who speak up are those who are heard in our representative government. Members of Congress are typically unfamiliar with the unique nature of our business and may not be aware of how legislative changes impact our industry. By attending a hill event, we can best educate them to hopefully keep us and our needs in mind when drafting legislation.
