  • Fuel Taxes – how do you handle quarterly tax bills? No billback, selected customers get billed back, or over certain dollar amount, etc.? How do you handle penalties and credits for penalties?
  • ELDs –what is everyone actively using in regard to rental trucks for driver’s logs? And are they capturing and downloading information for IRP and IFTA reports?
  • IRP and IFTA – do you have different accounts for every lease customer or are they combined under one account and included with rental units?
  • CPM reports – what is the integrity of the data from Enrich? How are you using these reports and are you finding data integrity issues?
  • Month end close – what are the expectations of how long it will take? Any tips on making a quicker close? What is the structure of your administrative/accounting team?
  • Data tracking within Enrich/BOA – Custom fields – date related
  • Tracking days from unit arrival to unit in service
  • Credit decision data tracking – override tracking, turnaround time on approve/decline decisions
  • Credit review/decision process – credit limit assignment
  • Insurance COI – best practices for compliance, tracking expirations, etc.
  • Rental metrics – Utilization – using BOA?--RPU, etc.
  • Inventory Variance Tracking – fuel, parts, and other inventory
  • Does anyone have a mentoring program for new hires?
  • What CRM programs do affiliates use for their sales force? (i.e. Salesforce, Sugar, Zoho?)
  • Does any affiliate finance lease trucks and then do a maintenance lease? If so, do they have a sample finance lease? Also, if they have a borrowing base with their bank, how do they get credit for the equipment they finance lease since not recorded as assets on the affiliates books?
