Kevin Grove

Research Associate, Virginia Tech Transportation Institute

Kevin Grove, M.S., is a research associate in the Center for Automated Vehicle Systems at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI). His research focuses on commercial driver behavior and safety. His previous research studied the behaviors of delivery drivers and how training can improve their safety performance. Kevin has taught courses in engineering economics at Virginia Tech and has been a part of the Virginia Tech community since arriving as a freshman in 2001. He received his B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering (2005) and his M.S. in Safety Engineering (2008) from Virginia Tech.

Glen P. Kedzie

Glen Kedzie manages ATA’s highly-respected energy, environmental, and sustainability practice and is staff executive tor ATA’s Energy & Environmental Policy Committee reporting to the Board of Directors. Glen leads ATA’s legal and policy advocacy efforts on energy, environmental, and climate change matters; counsels clients on regulatory compliance issues; transitioned the industry into using the cleanest fuels and engines on the road today; developed and implemented an industry-wide sustainability plan; ushered in first-ever greenhouse gas/fuel consumption standards for trucks; and coordinates the expansion of natural gas as an alternative transportation fuel.

Jay Shorr

Jay Shorr, BA, MBM-C, CAC I-VIII is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Best Management Business Solutions, a Florida-based consulting firm assisting business with their operational, administrative and financial health. Jay spent the majority of his corporate career in the trucking and leasing industry, serving as an instructor for professional truck drivers via The National Safety Council the American Trucking Association and the National Private Truck Council. He served as the National Safety Services Manager for Ryder until 2001.
