Donald Broughton

Donald Broughton founded Broughton Capital LLC in April 2016. Many in the transportation industry know him for his quarterly tracking of trucking bankruptcies and his development of a ‘Value to Density Spectrum’ study of the tangible goods flow and its economic ramifications. As a Transportation Analyst, his stock-picking performance has been repeatedly recognized by the Wall Street Journal and he is a frequent guest on national broadcast media, such as CNBC, Nightly Business Report, CNN, and Fox. Before becoming a side-side analyst over 20 years ago, Mr. Broughton spent eight years in various Distribution and Operations management roles in the beverage industry.

Matt Clark is the Chief Operating Officer for Corcentric, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring companywide alignment with competitive strategies to enhance marketplace execution and service delivery for Corcentric’s customers. He oversees all software engineering and operational efforts, including implementation, client services, integration, and IT infrastructure. Most recently, Matt was Vice President of Operations for Corcentric. He joined the company in 2004 as Director of Sales.

He is also the author of “Rethinking Retention in Good Times and Bad,” which was excerpted by BusinessWeek which said, “Finnegan offers fresh thinking for solving the turnover problem in any economy”. His new books include, The Stay Interview: A Manager’s Guide to Keeping the Best and Brightest, to be published in over 20 languages and audio book, and HR’s Greatest Challenge: Driving the C-Suite to Improve Employee Engagement and Retention.

Dick is a humorous and insightful speaker for conference and corporate events. His day job is CEO of C-Suite Analytics which helps organizations improve engagement and retention including STAYview that guarantees turnover will decrease 20% in the first year or funds are returned. His experience includes solving turnover and engagement in Siberian banks, African gold mines, multi-national corporations in China, and for the CIA, as well as for healthcare, call centers, manufacturing, and other industries in the US.

Jake Jacoby

Jake Jacoby was named the President and Chief Executive Officers of TRALA in January 2015. Before that position, Mr. Jacoby worked as TRALA’s top lobbyist for the past four and a half years in the role of Vice President of Government Relations on a number of issues both before Congress and in the states. He also established TRALA’s first political action committee, TRALAPAC, which has been a great benefit for TRALA’s advocacy efforts over the past three years. Prior to joining TRALA, Mr. Jacoby operated his own consulting company which specialized in trucking and transportation matters. He has been a federal lobbyist for more than 15 years.

Ken Kies has delivered significant legislative and regulatory results for his clients and has led coalition efforts to enact legislation responding to the World Trade Organization’s ruling against US foreign sales corporation benefits, to avert enactment of broad “corporate tax shelter” legislation that would have an adverse impact on legitimate business transactions, and to reverse Treasury regulations targeting “hybrid” arrangements of US multinational corporations, among other projects.

Richard Leibfried has been an insurance professional since 1976. In his current position with RJL, Mr. Leibfried provides insurance and risk management consulting services to the middle market business community. Acting essentially as a “part-time” risk manager for his clients, Mr. Leibfried brings both traditional as well as innovative, proprietary risk management strategies to these companies.

Mr. Leibfried’s experience is extensive. As an underwriter, broker and consultant he has been involved in the design, evaluation, and ongoing management of insurance programs for a wide range of businesses. Additionally, Mr. Leibfried has been directly involved in the formation and management of nine captive insurance companies as well as a variety of other self insurance arrangements for his clients.

A graduate of Yale University, Mr. Leibfried holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. A frequent lecturer at both insurance industry workshops and general industry seminars, Mr. Leibfried has also guested on radio and television programs to discuss client issues related to insurance.

Tyler Mortensen moved to Phoenix, Arizona after graduating with a Marketing and Management degree from Southern Utah University in 2007. During his time in Arizona he’s raised three kids with his wife Ashley and together they enjoy fitness, the outdoors, traveling and watching their kids compete in sports. Professionally Tyler has worked in software and technology for over 10 years and has focused on helping organizations grow strategically by leveraging technologies that support their corporate initiatives. Currently, in his role at GPS Insight, Tyler and his teams help Enterprise and Government Organizations reduce cost, reduce risk, increase revenue, and connect Telematics Data to their corporate goals and strategy.

Jason Walker

Jason Walker

Jason Walker has been the VP of Sales at GPS Insight since December of 2010. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in the development of the strategic sales plan, product positioning and revenue growth for the organization. As a result, annual revenues at GPS Insight have increased from $8 million in his first year to $40 million in 2017. Prior to 2010, Jason successfully executed new channel strategies and managed multiple product launches while leading sales teams at iLinc, Sage Software, Cyclone Commerce, QRS Corporation and Cellular One. As Vice President of Sales at iLinc, Jason was responsible for the direct and channel sales organizations with a concentrated focus on North America. He transformed the sales model and team from perpetual license format to a SaaS-based subscription sales group and increased customer transactions on a quarterly basis by over 500%.

Prior to iLinc, Jason was the Director of the ACT! Corporate Sales Team at Sage Software, where he was responsible for selling ACT! contact management software to enterprises across the United States and Canada. The ACT! Corporate Sales Team managed more than 36,000 accounts for Sage Software. Over a three-year period, Jason grew the revenues for this channel from approximately $12 million to over $25 million annually. Jason holds an M.A. from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. from California State University, Chico. He is also a Certified Green Belt in SixSigma.
