Ronny Brown

Ronny Brown

Ronny Brown was born with grease in his blood. He started working on small equipment in his grandfather’s garage at the age of 12. After that, he worked for a tractor company and a machine shop in high school.

Ronny graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College with honors and worked at the Peterbilt truck plant. After finishing school, Ronny worked at a Dodge dealer for a year and a half and then moved to the family-owned business at Catawba Rental Company, Inc., a NationaLease Member. He has held most jobs related to the shop in his 33 years of service and is now the Director of Maintenance and a certified ASE Master Truck Tech. In 2010, Ronnie Brown was inducted into the Nashville Auto-Diesel College Hall of Fame. He was chosen with only 8 others who were nominated and is among a prestigious group of only 60 others nationwide who are inductees.

Jane Clark

Vice President of Member Services, NationaLease

Jane Clark

Jane Clark is Vice President, Member Services for NationaLease. In this position, she is focused on managing the Member Services operation, as well as working to strengthen member relationships, reduce member costs, and improve collaboration within the NationaLease supporting groups. Prior to joining NationaLease, Jane served as Area Vice President for Randstad, one of the world’s largest recruitment agencies, and before that, she served in management posts with QPS Companies, Pro Staff, and Manpower, Inc. Jane received a B.A. degree in Communication from North Central College and an M.A. in Communication from Northern Illinois University.

Chris Disantis

Director of Training & Field Technical Support, Aim NationaLease

Chris Disantis

Chris Disantis, Director of Training & Field Technical Support for Aim NationaLease, has been with the company for nearly three decades. He has held a number of positions within Aim NationaLease including service manager, regional service manager, and regional director of maintenance. Chris is also a member of the ATMC (Automotive Training Managers Council) and currently serves as S1 Electrical Study Group Chairman for the TMC.

Rob Garcia

Rob Garcia

Robert Garcia, Senior Vice President, Supply Management, manages a team of professionals that focus on providing competitive advantage through strengthened supplier relationships, reduced cost, and improved supplier accountability throughout NationaLease supply chain programs. Rob brings an accomplished executive background in product line management with financial and market analysis expertise. Rob’s professional experience of twenty-eight years includes managing roles in the finance technologies, transportation, construction, logistics, banking, and communications industries. Rob served nine years as Senior Operations Manager for Ryder Transportation Services where he was responsible for managing vehicle operation centers, marketing, and financial activities. Rob earned a BA and MBA - Finance, from the University of Miami.

Eric Maddox

Former Interrogator for the U.S. Army and D.I.A.

Eric Maddox

Eric Maddox was an Army interrogator in 2003 when he was assigned to a Delta Force team in Tikrit, Iraq. Over a period of 5 months, Staff Sergeant Maddox would conduct over 300 interrogations and collect the intelligence which directly led to the capture of Saddam Hussein. For that, he was awarded the National Intelligence Medal of Achievement, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Director’s Award, the Legion of Merit, and the Bronze Star. In 2004, Eric left the enlisted ranks of the military and was hired as the first ever civilian interrogator for the Defense Intelligence Agency. During his 15 years as an interrogator for the U.S. Army and D.I.A., he deployed 8 times, to include multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and has conducted over 2700 interrogations of prisoners from 25 different countries.

Dan Murray

Vice President, Research, American Transportation Research Institute

Dan Murray

Daniel Murray has more than 24 years of experience in a broad range of transportation fields including trucking research and economics, transportation safety technologies, and autonomous vehicles. As Vice President of Research for the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), Mr. Murray is responsible for managing more than $4.5M in transportation research, testing and evaluation. Prior to his employment with ATRI, Mr. Murray spent three years working in economic development for a Chicago business consortium and four years developing transit programs, policy and funding with the Regional Transit Board in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota.

Joe Puff

Vice President of Truck Technology and Maintenance, NationaLease

Joe Puff

Joe Puff is the Vice President of Truck Technology and Maintenance for NationaLease. He has more than 35 years of experience in complex sales and fleet operations, including extensive experience in commercial vehicle maintenance. Joe is responsible for advising NationaLease members and the National Account team of new truck technology, industry trends, and maintenance best practices.

Larry Rambeaux

Sales Manager, Purkey’s

Larry Rambeaux

Larry Rambeaux has been with Purkey’s for 27 years. He is also very active with TMC, serving first as a member of the Meeting Mechanics Committee, and is currently secretary for the S.1 Electrical & Instruments Study Group. He has helped organize, moderate and served as a presenter on technical sessions. He also serves the Professional Technician Development Committee as chairman of the electrical skills station for the National Technician Skills Competition where he also designs and develops skills tests.

Greg Settle

Director of National Alliances, TechForce Foundation

Greg Settle

Greg Settle has 46 years of experience in the transportation industry. He graduated from the Automotive and Diesel Technology programs at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Phoenix, AZ, in 1972. Beginning his career as an apprentice technician, he advanced through dealership roles as Shop Foreman, Service Manager, and Director of Fixed Operations. In 1997, he was hired by Mercedes-Benz USA and subsequently served in various field roles. He then moved to corporate headquarters in Engineering and was soon promoted to Manager of Technical Training & Operations, responsible for training logistics and operations for 25,000 employees. Settle held various management roles within the training area at MBUSA, including Manager of Retail Training, Corporate Training and Curriculum. He also served on the Board of Directors for Automotive Youth Educational Systems and the Collision Repair Education Foundation. Following his retirement from Mercedes-Benz USA in 2015, Settle joined TechForce Foundation®, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on championing students to and through their education and into careers as professional technicians. Settle currently serves at the foundation in the role of Director of National Alliances.

Tim Spurlock

Co-Founder and President, American Diesel Training Centers

Tim Spurlock

In 2017, Tim Spurlock co-founded American Diesel Training Centers with Chris Ellis in Columbus, OH, to solve the diesel mechanic shortage. ADTC’s 300-hour intensive, hands-on program focuses on basic mechanical tasks around brakes, preventative maintenance, electrical, and emissions. ADTC’s system also focuses on developing mechanics with intangibles, such as attitude, aptitude, timeliness, teamwork, and willingness to progress in an organization. Prior to founding American Diesel, Tim spent 25 years in educational publishing/technology. From 2009-2017, Tim was Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development for CDX Learning. At CDX, Tim’s team grew CDX revenues by 300%, all via organic sales and new product launches.

Dean Vicha

Dean Vicha

Dean was named President of NationaLease in 2012 and has been with the company since 2005. At that time, he was part of the National Account team in the Midwest, where he helped grow the National Account Program to more than $447 million in term sales. In 2008, he became Vice President of Member Services, executing a strategy that provided a sustainable competitive advantage to NationaLease Members and growing the membership base. In 2010, Dean became Vice President of National Accounts, leading that team, in 2011, to a record-breaking year in sales.
